Freight quote ROI calculator

What does manual freight quoting cost your desk?

Use your own quote volume, handling time, team cost and Freitt plan. We will estimate annual hours returned, capacity value, subscription cost and break-even volume. Nothing below assumes a Freitt win-rate improvement.

Your entries stay in this browser unless you choose to send them to us.

Quote workload

Use your typical four-week average. Current time should include reading the request, looking up the rate, calculating and formatting the reply.

Your estimate, not ours. We publish no saving figure until one comes from a named customer.

Team cost

Salary plus taxes, benefits and operating overhead, divided by working hours — use base salary alone if that is what you have.

Freitt plan

The same prices /pricing shows. Annual billing is 15% lower. Enterprise is quoted on the call, so it returns workload and capacity but no cost or payback.

Optional: quotes you have to redo

Requoting after a wrong rate, a missed surcharge or a re-keyed weight. Your scenario, all three fields or none — leave it blank to keep rework out of the estimate entirely.

Shown on its own, never added to the result above. Freitt does not promise a win-rate change, and answering first is not the same as winning more.

02What the estimate covers

What it includes

  • The handling time you entered, per quote.
  • The review time you expect once a draft is prepared.
  • The number of people who review or send quotes.
  • Your selected plan and billing cadence.
  • Rework — only if you complete that optional scenario.

What it does not

  • Any guaranteed revenue, win-rate or margin improvement.
  • Enterprise pricing, which is quoted on the call.
  • Implementation or integration cost you have not entered.
  • Value from RFQs the desk currently never answers.
  • Value from faster follow-up or more consistent approvals.
  • Headcount reductions. This is capacity, not redundancy.

Hours returned are capacity, not cash. They become value when the desk answers requests it used to leave until tomorrow, or spends the time on the customer instead of the spreadsheet. We publish no performance figures until they come from a named customer, with the sample size and the measurement period stated — which is why every number in this calculator is one you supplied.

About this estimate

The same plan table /pricing renders — Starter and Growth at their published per-user monthly price, with annual billing 15% lower. Change a price there and it changes here, so the two pages cannot disagree.

Because we have no measured customer figure to put there yet. A pre-filled "expected review time" would be Freitt quietly asserting its own result inside your calculation. The number has to be your estimate, and the honest way to test it is one real RFQ.

Answering faster is not the same as winning more, and we have published no win-rate evidence. Enter an uplift if you want to see what it would be worth, but it stays in its own card and never touches the capacity figure, the break-even volume or the payback.

Hours returned multiplied by your loaded hourly cost. It is the value of time your team stops spending on reading, rate lookup, calculation and formatting. It only becomes money if that time goes into work that earns — more quotes answered, or more customer contact.

Enterprise is priced with you rather than published, so there is no honest number to divide by. The workload and capacity half of the answer still applies — bring it to the call and we will price against it.

No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is submitted. Our analytics records that a calculation was run, which plan and billing cadence were selected, and a broad volume band — never your hourly cost, your exact quote volume or any result.

Run one of your real RFQs through Freitt. That is what the live quote session and the 14-day free trial are for: the review time you guessed at becomes a measured number on your own lanes, your own rate sheet and your own format.
