Pickup and delivery appointment scheduling

Book freight
appointments faster.

Freitt Schedule drafts pickup and delivery requests, handles the email back-and-forth and tracks every stop to confirmation. It asks your team only when a decision is needed.

  • Email and supported portals
  • Air, ocean and road
  • Auto-book off by default

This coordinates pickup and delivery appointment requests for forwarders. It is not a warehouse dock-door capacity scheduler and does not manage slot inventory.

01The problem

One stop should not take seven emails.

Freitt keeps every appointment moving without losing the thread — request, counter, confirm, and the calendar entry at the end of it.

Late requests get worse windows. The slot you wanted goes to whoever asked first. Ask late and the pickup slides.
Missed replies miss cutoffs.A counter-offer sitting unread is a flight or sailing you no longer make.
Rebooking costs twice.Storage, a second attempt, and a customer email nobody wants to write.
02How it works

From ready-to-book
to confirmed.

Requests go out as normal email from your address, so nobody on their side needs an account, and your TMS stays where it is.

  1. 01Start with the shipment.Pull the address, pieces, dates and references from the accepted quote or the booking confirmation.
  2. 02Send the request.Draft the appointment email, or complete the supported portal workflow.
  3. 03Handle the reply.Check counter-offers against the shipment cutoff and draft the response.
  4. 04Escalate exceptions.Missing hours, phone-only locations and risky windows go to your team with the full thread.
  5. 05Track to confirmation.Every stop stays open until it is confirmed.
  1. 01Starts on its own, or on one click.

Scheduling begins the moment a quote is accepted or a shipment is marked ready to book. Addresses, pieces and references come straight from the file.

  2. 02Books over email or the portal.

It writes the request in your format and sends it from your address, or files the booking form where the location takes them on a portal.

  3. 03Handles the reply, asks you when it is stuck.

A counter-offer gets checked against your cutoffs and answered. Anything it cannot settle reaches you with the thread attached.

  4. 04Remembers how every location books.

Receiving hours, portal or email, lead time, the contact who answers. The first booking at a location is research. The tenth is routine.

03Location memory

The next booking starts with what you learned.

Freitt keeps each location’s booking method, receiving hours, lead time and contact history in your workspace. Every call your team makes and every reply a warehouse sends is worth something to the next shipment through the same door.

It never guesses missing hours. An unknown is shown as an unknown, for a person to fill in.

  • How this location takes bookings — email, portal or phone
  • Receiving hours and the lead time it needs
  • Who answered last time, and on which thread
  • What happened on every previous stop
04Control

You set the booking rules.

  • 01
    Auto-book is off by default.
  • 02
Each confirmation stays tied to its thread.
  • 03
    Cutoff conflicts are flagged.
  • 04
    Exceptions require a person.
  • 05
Location and contact data stays in your workspace.

Something else on your mind? Bring it to a live session, or email care@freitt.com.

Not by default. Auto-book is opt-in and set per location, and it is easy to turn back off. Out of the box, every request and confirmation is drafted for review.

Freitt flags the stop, shows the known number and hours, and records the result after your team calls — so the next booking starts further ahead.

From an accepted Freitt quote, or from a forwarded booking confirmation. Either way nothing gets retyped.

Freitt flags the conflict for a person to decide, with the thread and the cutoff side by side.

Also on the desk

Before the booking, the quote.

Freitt Quote reads the RFQ, prices it from your own rate sheets, and drafts the reply on the same model. Drafted, checked, sent by you.
