Comparison
Freitt vs Freightify
Compare an inbox-first quote-automation workflow with a broader freight rate-management and digital-sales platform.
Last reviewed 10 September 2026Sources
Freitt is focused on turning inbound freight RFQ emails into source-backed draft quotes using the forwarder’s approved rate sheets, pricing rules and house format. It is positioned for small teams that want human approval on every quote and do not want to replace their TMS.
Freightify publicly presents a broader platform, naming rate procurement, rate management, quotation, a customer portal, track and trace, reporting and an API product as separate areas, and marketing to organisations it describes as "200+ SMB to Global Enterprise Freight-Forwarders in 45+ Countries". The practical decision is less about which product has a longer feature list and more about which workflow is blocking your team this quarter.
| Dimension | Freitt | Freightify |
|---|---|---|
| Primary position | Email RFQ to a human-reviewed quote draft, from your own rate sheets. | A platform spanning rate procurement, rate management, quotation, customer portal, track and trace, reporting and an API product. |
| Target buyer | Small forwarding teams — stated as 5–30 people. | "200+ SMB to Global Enterprise Freight-Forwarders in 45+ Countries", plus shippers, NVOCCs and logistics tech providers. |
| Rate source | Your own Excel rate sheets, mapped in their existing layout. Carrier rate integrations are included in Growth. | Carrier rates from multiple sources in a single view, plus contract rate management and a contract reader. |
| Quotation | A draft prepared from the customer’s own email, with each charge tied to its source row. | "Create a Quote in Less than 30 Seconds" is the named quotation capability. |
| Email and attachment RFQ intake | The core product workflow — email body plus PDF, Excel, Word and image attachments. | Not documented on the pages cited. Ask directly, and ask about attachments as well as message bodies. Not stated on the cited public pages |
| Customer portal | A website quote widget is included in the Growth plan. Confirm the scope you need. | Customer Portal is a named product area, described as a customisable sales channel. |
| Track and trace | Quote activity and outcomes. Shipment tracking is not a Freitt capability. | Track and Trace is a named product area, including live and bulk shipment tracking. |
| Human approval before send | A person reviews and sends every customer quote. Approval and routing rules are explicit, on Growth. | Not documented on the pages cited. Confirm for the tier you are evaluating.Confirm with vendor |
| Public pricing | Starter $55 and Growth $89 per user per month, 15% lower on annual billing. | No figures published. Essentials, Essentials+ and Enterprise tiers each route to "Contact Sales"; a 10% discount is shown for annual payment with no baseline price. |
Where a source does not answer a question, this table says so. Nothing here is recorded as unsupported on the strength of a vendor not mentioning it.
Step
Freitt
Freightify
01A customer emails an RFQ at 4pm
Freitt:Recognised, read, structured and priced from your mapped sheets into a draft reply.
Freightify:Not documented publicly. Establish in the demo how the request gets from the inbox into the platform.
02Finding a rate
Freitt:Selects a valid line from your own sheets and links it to the source row.
Freightify:A single view of rates from all sources, with contract rate management behind it.
03Producing the quote
Freitt:A draft in your own format, terms and validity line, ready for a person to send.
Freightify:Quotation is a named module, marketed on speed of quote creation.
04Letting the customer self-serve
Freitt:A website quote widget on Growth. Narrower than a portal — check it covers what you need.
Freightify:Customer Portal is a named product area with a customisable interface.
05After the booking
Freitt:Out of scope. Freitt tracks the quote, not the shipment.
Freightify:Track and Trace, plus reporting and analytics.
Reasons not to choose Freitt.
Breadth.
Procurement, rate management, quoting, a portal, tracking, reporting and an API in one platform. If you need several of those, one vendor is a real advantage.
Rate supply from many sources.
A single view across carriers and a contract reader, aimed at exactly the estate a growing forwarder accumulates.
Shipment visibility.
Track and trace is a named product area. Freitt has no equivalent and does not claim one.
Scale.
The marketed range runs from SMB to global enterprise. If you expect to be a materially bigger organisation in three years, weigh that.
Decide which half of the problem you have.
Rate supply chaos and quote-desk delay are different problems with different products. Time a week before you shortlist anything.
Get the email question answered in writing.
Whatever either vendor says on a call, ask for it in writing: which mailbox types, which attachment formats, and what happens when a detail is missing.
Ask both about integration, not just features.
If you might run rate management in one system and quote in another, the integration is the project. Find out what exists today rather than what is planned.
Test on the same RFQs.
Pick ten recent real requests, including two awkward ones, and put them through both. A demo dataset tells you nothing about your lanes.
On pricing
Freightify does not publish figures: its Essentials, Essentials+ and Enterprise tiers each route to "Contact Sales", with a 10% annual-payment discount shown against no baseline price. We link to their page rather than reproducing a number, because a copied competitor price goes stale silently and unfairly. Freitt’s own figures are on the Freitt pricing page.
Questions buyers actually ask
We cannot say, and neither should anyone else without a disclosed test. Freightify does not publish prices, so any comparison of cost would be guesswork. Freitt’s per-user price is published; get a Freightify quote for your own scope and compare like for like.
Possibly, but do not assume an integration exists. Ask each vendor what is supported today, in writing, before building a plan on it.
No. Freitt tracks the quote — what arrived, what was priced, what was sent and what happened next. Shipment tracking is not something it does, and Freightify names it as a product area.
Because a company not documenting a capability on its marketing site is not evidence the capability is missing. Where a source is silent, this page says so and tells you to ask. Every row carries the page it was read from and the date.

Editorial policy
We use public vendor information and Freitt's current product documentation. Capabilities can change. Every page states when it was last checked, links to primary sources, and distinguishes "not found publicly" from "not supported." Tell us if a fact needs correction at care@freitt.com.

Compare both against one RFQ workflow
Bring a real request and the sheet that prices it. Bring one rate request and the matching rate sheet — we will show you how Freitt reads it, prices it and drafts the reply.
